For B (or How Love Devastates Four out of Every Five of Us)

For B is the authorized English translation of Para Kay B, the debut novel of Ricky Lee, National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts. It is also the first published English translation of his work, to date. The premier screenwriter of iconic Filipino films such as Himala, Moral, and Anak, Lee is also the author of several books, including the epic Si Amapola sa 65 na Kabanata (Amapola in Chapter 65).

In 2022, he published Lahat ng B (All the Bs), Para Kay B’s sequel. He continues to nurture thousands of budding screenwriters through the immensely popular screenwriting workshops he’s offered in the last 40 years and through his highly sought-after screenwriting manual, Trip to Quiapo.
